ABOUT PARALLAX

WHAT IS PARALLAX?

Parallax-Media a hub for the greatest thinkers of the age on the edge of culture, philosophy, politics — offering courses, seminars, podcasts, and high quality books and articles.

Parallax is a hub and network for original and heterodox thinkers and ideas.

The word ‘parallax’ stems from the old greek παράλλαξις parállaxis, which means to shift the viewpoint of the observer. The name suggests psychoactive and alternative sensemaking, as opposed to mainstream narratives and ideologies. Through our work with various european ‘digital tribes’, we create media and Bildung (education), and promote social, cognitive and spiritual development. Moreover, we aim provide a european counterpoint to the dominant anglo-saxon narratives.

Our choice of topics focuses on niche topics, alternative perspectives and investigative research that are often neglected in traditional media. We place great emphasis on scientifically sound methodology, careful research and journalistic ethics. Although we address a smaller, dedicated target group, we see ourselves as an important voice for education and critical opinion-forming. We strive to address under-explored topics, challenge existing narratives and open up new perspectives without slipping into opinion journalism or disinformation. Our goal is to be a transparent, responsible and balanced source of information that wins the trust of our readers over the long term and lives by the values of regenerative, ethical journalism.
