Prof. Dr. Dirk Baecker: On Media, Fake News and Niklas Luhmanns systems theory

Prof. Dr. Dirk Baecker is a sociologist and holds senior professorship for organization theory and theory of society at Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance. He studied systems theory with Niklas Luhmann.

He has been recognized as one of the most prominent German sociologists with important works on cultural theory, sociological theory, economic sociology and organizational sociology. He is the author of numerous books, including KATJEKTE, published at Merve.
