Roy Edward Casagranda is a American political scientist, historian, and author. He is a professor of political science at Austin Community College (ACC) and founder of the Austin School, a public lecture series focusing on history, geopolitics, and international relations.
In this episode we talk about the function of war for the civilisation-process, different cultural iterations of what is called 'modernity', the pre-requisite of being a great leader, the decline of art and the inevitably of war as a human condition.
